Who is responsible for your information?

iArriv provides a website and a sign-in service for workplaces and other sites. If you sign in as a visitor, contractor or delivery driver, the organisation you are visiting decides what information to ask for and why. iArriv stores and handles that information for the organisation. For questions about a particular site's sign-in records, contact that organisation first.

iArriv is responsible for information used to run its own website and business, including account administration, billing, support, security and website analytics. You can contact us at support@iarriv.com.

What information do we handle?

The details depend on how you use iArriv. A site may ask for information needed to record a visit or delivery. If you do not provide information a site requires, you may not be able to complete its sign-in process.

  • Sign-in details, such as your name, organisation, contact or vehicle details, who you are visiting, arrival and departure times, and any site questions, acknowledgements or signature.
  • Account and staff details, such as names, email addresses, notification settings, support messages and subscription information.
  • Website and technical details, such as pages viewed, interactions, device and browser type, referral source, approximate location, security logs and a masked IP address.
  • Payment status and limited card details supplied by Stripe, such as card brand and last four digits. We do not receive or store full card numbers or security codes.

How do we use it?

We use information to sign people in and out, notify staff, keep site records, manage accounts and subscriptions, answer support requests, protect the service and understand how the website is used. We do not sell personal information or use site sign-in records for unrelated advertising.

The organisation responsible for a site can view and manage its site records. Its own privacy notice may explain any additional reasons it collects them.

Website activity and cookies

We use necessary cookies or local storage for sign-in, security and preferences. Our first-party analytics can record page views, time on a page, scroll milestones, pricing and offer interactions, and trial-form activity even before optional analytics consent is given. Events during one visit may be linked in memory, but this does not create a persistent visitor ID. We do not record unsubmitted trial-form answers in these activity events.

For approximate location, our server may look up an incoming IP address in a local database. We keep only a masked IP prefix and approximate location for up to seven days, not the full address in those analytics records. Device type, browser timezone and referral information may also be recorded. Optional analytics and advertising tools are subject to consent where required. You can change analytics consent using the website's privacy controls.

Who else receives information?

We share information only as needed with the organisation responsible for a site, its authorised staff, and providers that help us operate iArriv. These include hosting, email, security, support, analytics and payment providers such as Stripe. We may also disclose information when required by law.

Information may be processed in New Zealand or in countries where our providers operate. Where required, we use safeguards for overseas transfers.

How long is it kept?

Site sign-in records may be kept for up to seven years by default unless the organisation deletes them or uses another available retention period. An unpaid trial account and its data may be deleted 30 days after the trial begins; data from an ended paid account may be deleted 30 days after paid access ends. Billing, security and other records may need to be kept longer for legal or operational reasons. Deleted information can remain in restricted backups until they are overwritten.

Masked IP prefixes and approximate locations in website analytics are kept for up to seven days.

How is it protected?

We use access controls, authentication, backups and other reasonable measures to protect information. No online service can guarantee perfect security. Organisations using iArriv also need to protect their devices, account access and any records they export.

Your choices and questions

You can ask to access or correct your personal information. Other rights may apply depending on where you live. For information collected when you visited a site, contact that organisation first. For iArriv account, website or billing information, email support@iarriv.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

You can also raise a privacy concern with us or with the New Zealand Office of the Privacy Commissioner at https://www.privacy.org.nz. We may update this policy when the service or our practices change and will show the updated date above.
